Types Of Additional Charges

Overpax Criteria

As you can see it in the right-most column at our KL / PG Menu pages, the 'Total Max Allowed Pax' means that the package is only designed for that stated capacity of audience.

E.g.: KL's Package 3P–A is only for designed for a ≤250 pax of audience.

However, in some cases, our clients are imminent in getting a smaller sized band line-up due to their own reasons. Hence, on such case, we implement a solution called the 'Overpax Surcharges'. The rates are shown as such:

• the first 50 overpax is RM10 per pax audience – i.e. RM500 per 50pax  

• the subsequent amount of overpax is RM5 per pax audience

E.g. With KL's Package 3P–A that is limited to ≤250 pax, if you're having 400 pax of audience, then the surcharge is based on a 150 overpax i.e. RM1,000

Outstation / Traveling

Depending on the event venue, and also the performers' location at the date given, traveling charges may occur. In some cases, accomodation for a night or two may also be required. Hence, do check with our person-in-charge on our booking schedule first, then only we can confirm the oustation costings.

If you would prefer to make the travel & accomodation bookings for the performers by yourself, you may do so. However, do also expect some charges in terms of the opportunity costs and the traveling allowances ya. And we also have to factor in the PA system rental costing separately.

This is to help you gauge a range of the total traveling expenses.

Corporate Event

When it comes to hosting a corporate function, the scenario is way different because the race of the audience are more diversified as compared to a wedding/family occasion. The age group are smaller; no chidren, no retirees.

Hence, the agendas curated to entertain such audience is basically more open where it could be rowdier or it could also be more exquisite, it all depends on the theme for the event.

When it comes to hosting such event, the emcee has to prepare his/her work in getting to know the company, the specific purpose(s) of the event, and everything that is required to make the event efficiently successful. Even in the BGM personnel's job (DJ), more functionable songs are needed.

Hence, this is why we charge RM500 extra regardless of the reasons given.

Song Request

In every event, we want the performance to be memorable, entertaining, special, and relatable. Hence, client requests their favourite and/or familiar songs. No doubt, the more experienced performers would have a longer list of song choices. Yet, there are some clients with a unique musical taste.

Usually performers would gladly want to fulfill requests. However, it really depends on the workload of preparing the requested song(s), the schedule at the time given, and ultimately, whether or not it is within the capability of the talent. Generally, the performers are able to grasp a wide genre of musical styles, though it still depends on the band setup that you're having. For example, not every song are performably good in a 3P acoustic setup.

If the situation is deemed tough, we will charge extra for the request(s).

Wireless Mics

Wireless mic(s) in our case is chargeable if you're having an emcee you hired separately unless s/he brings his own. Clients may also opt to have wireless mic(s) for their speeches if they prefer to give their speech at their seats.

In some venues/hotels, there also wireless mics available for clients to borrow. However, by doing so, there is no certainty of the audio quality. For example, we have encountered the hotel's wireless mics to be having a low threshold of vocal input, where a higher intensity (louder) speech made by the emcee resulted in an overload (cracking) sound reproduction through the speakers. There is no certainty of a good quality mic from venues/hotels.

We advice our clients to avoid this by renting the wireless mics from us. The rental rate is RM80 per wireless mic.

Outdoor / Unshaded

Depending on the event venue, some performance stages are unshaded, which therefore resulting in a rather tricky placement of the equipment on stage – in case it rained. And if so, an extra individual will also have to be hired to be standing by for it, so to make sure in any occurence of rain, he can swiftly help out the situation – shifting all the equipment & setups.

This unshaded situation of the performance stage will be chargeable at RM100.

If and only if a relocation of the stage setup and PA system equipment were to happen, an additional RM100 per (3m x 5m) stage size will be charged for this work of inconvenience. Also, there has to be a backup plan on the relocation of the stage in case it rained.

Special Days

As good performers are limited (the ratio of performers to a city's population is huge), the demand on special celebratory days are higher than the normal days. Hence, to secure the booking on a special day, extra fees are required. Click here for more explanations in our FAQ page.

Christmas Eve / New Year's Eve:

(RM150 for the setup crews) + (RM500 per performer)

Christmas Day / New Year's Day:

(RM150 for the setup crews) + (RM300 per performer)

Public Holidays (PH) / the Eves of a Public Holiday:

(RM150 for the setup crews) + (RM100 per performer)

Extra Duration

This the timeline of an event:

Vendors' Setup > Guest Arrival > Event Duration (Agendas) > Overtime

In the case where the vendors' setup is placed several hours before the guest arrival, 'Early Arrival Time' will be chargeable at:

RM30 per 30 min per performer

In the case where the event duration exceeds it's standard duration, 'Overtime (OT)' will be chargeable at:

RM60 per 30 min per performer

E.g. If the package comes in 4P, then multiply the above chargeable rate by 4.
